Messines

Flower of the Gatineau

In the heart of the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau is the village of Messines. This village took its name directly from the Belgium village where Canadians became famous during the First World War. When you enter the village of Messines, you will know why it is known as the Flower of the Gatineau. In fact, this village conceals many lakes, including lac Blue Sea, which is well-known for its recreational site. As for its forest, it provides a great environment for all sports lovers.

In this municipality formed in 1920, come discover the two beautiful golf courses as well as the Pisciculture Percy Poulin, where you can fish in a quiet environment. You can also take advantage of the Centre de plein air 303 for an unforgettable stay with the entire family.
