The réserve faunique La Vérendrye spreads over two tourist regions, the Outaouais and the Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions. More than 4,000 lakes dot the territory and make this preserve a paradise for canoe-camping and fishing enthusiasts. Numerous rivers also meander through the preserve, which gives fishers the chance to catch the biggest fish.
