A Worship and Peaceful Place
The Papineau Memorial Chapel was built in 1855 by Louis-Joseph Papineau himself. This chapel is the burial place of the leader of the Patriot Party, his wife, his father and several of their descendants. Inside the chapel, you will see objects and furniture that was used during religious services, as well as Papineau's Patriot flag.
