The Canadian Museum of Civilisation is the most popular museum in Canada and the largest cultural institution in the country. The building that houses the museum is an architectural masterpiece. Each year, the museum welcomes more than one million visitors who come from all over the world to see the spectacular exhibitions presented here.

Three permanent exhibitions are presented in the museum: the Great Hall, in which you will see the largest indoor collection of totem poles in the world; the First Peoples Hall, in which you will learn more about the history of Canada's First Nations; and finally the Canada Hall, in which you will relive some of Canada’s most significant moments. Also, do not miss the Children’s Museum, the Postal Museum and the IMAX Theatre which will definitely please the young and not-so-young.
