Open from mid-May to mid-October

Dive into the 19th Century

William Lyon MacKenzie King was the 10th prime minister of Canada, from 1921 to 1946. He built his summer residence in the Gatineau Park and spent 50 years of his life on his estate. Nowadays, people can visit his 570-acre domain, including the gardens and the interpretation paths. The panels along the path will help you understand how Canada was like during the 19th century. Interpretive guides can also give you a guided tour of the estate and answer all your questions.
