A Nature Getaway Right by the City

The Gatineau Park offers a getaway to the city's inhabitants, only a few minutes from their homes. In summer, take advantage of the hiking and cycling paths. Once winter comes, they transform into cross-country skiing paths. Mountain biking enthusiasts will like camp Fortune, which also offers an aerial challenge course and alpine skiing trails in winter.

In summer, six beaches stretch along the banks of the different lakes that are scattered in the park, which allows you to safely take advantage of water. Parkways and scenic routes have been built for those who can spend only a few hours in the park. Stop at the viewpoints, especially the Champlain lookout to see the park in all its magnificence. The kiosks offer equipment rental, and campgrounds are available for winter and summer camping.
